The Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. This is why the PADI Rescue Diver rating is a pre-requisite for all PADI leadership training such as Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and PADI Instructor. Learn to prevent and manage dive emergencies The best way to deal with an emergency is avoiding one from happening in the first place. The PADI Rescue diver training prepares student scuba divers to help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. The PADI Rescue course is designed to be demanding, though realistic in its conduct, content and approach. You will repeat some of the skills you have learned in your Open Water Diver course and build on that to expand your skillset. You will learn how to interpret different situations by practicing realistic scenarios and become a more competent diver who is fully aware of his/her surroundings. Although the nature and context in which rescue training may be used is serious, the course is very enjoyable and boosts diver confidence. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken. As for most of our courses you can start at any time and prepare yourself by selfstudy in advance by signing up for our e-learning program in which your instructor will monitor your progress and answer all your questions. Arrive perfectly prepared at the diveshop and enjoy learning first hand from your experienced instructor and learn how to avoid / handle different scenarios during the 4 dives that you will make on this course. note : Booking is recommended 2 days in advance.
